I've always got these sorts of comments during my high school time, and maybe you were in my shoes as well? Mentality of Malaysians needs to be reconstructed people! We are not using English because we are trying to act like a Mat Salleh and stuff but...please bare in mind, using English in our daily conversation brings nothing wrong. I'm still using Bahasa Melayu and even Northern slang!
"Hangpa nak pi mana tu?"
"Hang ni pelik betoi"
"Lapaq gila dok lari pi ligan bola tadi"
"Gerek hang kena curi ka?"
And to be surprised, people around me still bother with this issue. I'm a TESL student of IPBA and can you believe that there are TESLians who have this kind of mentality? They don't like people talking and using English within Malay group. Hmm..what a pity!

precisely. annoys me much. i'm a future teacher as in my degree is edu.hons. sakitlah otak tengok mantality future teachers yang sangat mundur. what is so wrong to speak english. the bm u spoke pun bukan betul sangat. pfft. -.- :P

yupp huhu. i wish i knew how to blog eversince i was born. what a pity, i just figured out that i could improve my english when i signed up with blogger. duh~ it was august 2010 n approximately 2 weeks b4 my trial. gile. bole pulak buat blog saat2 genting camtuh. tragis.. hahah anyway, i adore ur writing. n plzz wish me luck 4 my SPM result.. heh :D
