Azham Vosovic sent me a message saying that there is a Durian Feast around KL and I've been informed that the event takes place at Muzium Telekom, somewhere around Masjid Jamek. I've been longing to eat durian so that this is a golden opportunity for me to full my tank with the delicious taste of the king of fruits.
|The grand entrance! And the pass sticker.|
The durian that I ate. The fee for the entrance was RM15 per head. We were given a bottle of mineral water and we can eat as much durian as we want. There were also another fruits for instances rambutan and mangosteen.
Don' they look delicious and ready to eat?
There were people who sold fruits around. The prices were affordable. There were many foreigners mingled around to taste the tropical fruits available. I bet they were very happy eventhough some of them were reluctantly eating the durian.
The decoration of some fruits.
Let me show you what was happening around the feast.
If you can really see, there is a man standing on the stage in the second picture (top, from right). He was actually singing since there was a karaoke session organized by the community. It was free and anybody is welcomed to show off their singing talent. Three of my friends sang a few songs namely; This Love (Maroon 5) by Aiman, Gadis Melayu (Jamal Abdillah) by Amir and Hapus Aku (Nidji) by Azham.
Few of my friends. They look very tensed, maybe because of the over eating.
Me...I know, I've gained some pound and I am working on losing some. Maybe I should participate in The Biggest Loser show. Oh no! I am not that fat.
And then we went sight seeing around KLCC. We solat asar over there and bought some breads from Rotiboy outlet. It may sound that we haven't full but we were totally full. Oh ya, I met a journalist from Mangga magazine. He's such a friendly guy eventhough we only had a few seconds to talk.
Hope you get it...till then, that is how
